Bitcoin Leads $124.3M Liquidation Ranking as ONDO Gains 25.3%

The derivatives leaderboard is splitting into two very different stories: Bitcoin generated $124.3M in 24-hour liquidations, while ONDO surged 25.3% on $2.4B in futures volume. Across the market, liquidations reached $352.7M, with longs accounting for $231.2M, so the dominant event was not a clean short squeeze but a broad long-side reset.
Top liquidation coins
Bitcoin ranked first with $124.3M liquidated, including $92.3M of longs and $32.0M of shorts across 7,836 events. Its latest index price was $84,214.95, placing the largest liquidation cluster in a market that still carries substantial directional exposure.
Ethereum followed with $87.5M, split between $53.3M in long liquidations and $34.3M in shorts across 5,713 events. The imbalance points to long positioning being the bigger casualty, although the short total shows that the move was volatile rather than one-way.
XRP placed third at $19.0M, with $14.0M from longs and $4.9M from shorts across 2,589 events. That long-heavy profile suggests traders were still leaning into the token before the liquidation wave forced an unwind.
ZEC recorded $13.8M in liquidations, including $8.0M in longs and $5.8M in shorts. Its two-sided distribution is more balanced than XRP's, indicating a faster contest between breakout buyers and fading sellers.
SOL was fifth at $13.4M, but it was the first major name in the top group where shorts led: $7.2M versus $6.2M in longs. That detail matters because it suggests the move in SOL punished late downside positioning even as the wider market cleared leveraged longs.
Biggest 24-hour gainers
AGRIPPA led the futures gainers with a 72.8% rise to $0.00009257 on $2.0M in volume. The percentage move is dramatic, but its comparatively small turnover makes it a high-volatility leaderboard signal rather than the strongest liquidity confirmation.
SHROOM gained 71.2% to $0.0279 on $2.6M in volume, while JEANPHIL advanced 69.9% to $0.006983 on $1.0M. Both joined the sharpest-rally group with limited turnover, showing that the upper end of the gainers table was concentrated in thinner contracts.
QNT offered a more substantial confirmation, rising 31.6% to $93.02 on $170.0M in volume. XPL added 29.6% to $0.11575 on $644.1M, making it one of the strongest high-volume movers in the futures list.
ONDO deserves the clearest attention among liquid names: it rose 25.3% to $0.5242 while generating $2.4B in volume. However, it also appeared sixth in the liquidation ranking with $5.5M cleared, including $3.4M of shorts, so the rally was powerful enough to force meaningful bearish positioning out of the market.
Sharpest losers and positioning risk
JINQIAN was the worst performer, falling 73.6% to $0.00087 on $1.8M in volume. APH dropped 47.6% to $82.82 on $1.0M, while ENFLAMESTOCK lost 34.7% to $37.618 on $0.8M; the low turnover behind these moves makes execution risk especially important.
SAGA fell 32.3% to $0.03116 despite $627.2M in futures volume, making its decline much more consequential than the thin-contract collapses. It also recorded $3.1M in liquidations, nearly balanced between $1.6M of shorts and $1.6M of longs, suggesting an active two-way deleveraging process.
NIL dropped 14.3% to $0.1143 on $655.6M, while BTW fell 11.5% to $0.9543 on $258.2M. Both declines came with meaningful turnover and contrast with the broad altcoin strength implied by the altseason index at 64, reinforcing that participation is selective rather than uniformly bullish.
Verdict: The actionable structure is cautiously bullish above Bitcoin's $84,214.95 index price, but the immediate derivatives ceiling is defined by the $42.95B Bitcoin options open interest and the $78,000 max-pain level for the Sep 25 expiry. A sustained break below $78,000 would invalidate the constructive view and reopen the long-liquidation trend; conversely, holding above $84,214.95 while total market open interest remains near $129.3B would support continuation rather than a completed rebound.
