Bitcoin Leads a $122.4M Liquidation Top 15 as QNT Jumps 72.7%

The derivatives leaderboard is split between aggressive upside momentum and heavy forced selling: 24-hour market liquidations reached $122.4M, while QNT surged 72.7% with $2.2B in futures volume. Bitcoin is holding near $84,368.76 and the altseason index stands at 76, with 38 of 50 tracked assets outperforming it over 90 days. That combination favors momentum trades, but the liquidation rankings show how quickly leverage is being repriced.

Liquidation leaders: where leverage broke

1. Ethereum: ETH led the liquidation table with $15.0M, almost evenly split between $7.5M in long liquidations and $7.5M in shorts, pointing to two-way volatility rather than a single-sided flush. The largest individual liquidation was an ETH short worth $1.4M at $2,703.58, while another $1.3M ETH long was closed at $2,670.40.

2. ZEC: ZEC recorded $13.1M in liquidations, including $11.9M of shorts against just $1.2M of longs. Its 2,285 liquidation events make it the clearest short-squeeze profile in the top ranks, consistent with its 303.0% 90-day gain.

3. XRP: XRP generated $10.8M in liquidations, but $10.5M came from longs and only $0.3M from shorts. That imbalance makes the $1.5192 long liquidation worth $679,039.86 especially instructive: upside momentum did not prevent crowded longs from being forced out.

4. Bitcoin: BTC saw $9.2M in liquidations, with $5.6M from shorts and $3.6M from longs, a modest bullish skew. Its largest listed forced exit was a $838,959 long at $83,895.90, showing that the market remains sensitive just below the current price.

5. QNT: QNT’s $8.0M liquidation total was dominated by shorts at $6.2M versus $1.8M in longs. With a 72.7% futures gain and $2.2B turnover, QNT is both the strongest liquid high-volume mover and one of the most vulnerable to a momentum reversal.

Top gainers: momentum is concentrating

QNT ranks fourth among futures gainers at $171.90, but its volume makes the move more credible than the thinly traded leaders. NEARKAT jumped 156.9% to $0.011327 on $998,455.38, while ALLINU rose 87.9% to $0.00839 on $1.8M; both show extreme percentage expansion with much smaller liquidity than QNT.

SI gained 80.6% to $0.014248 on $1.5M, and FONE climbed 67.1% to $0.00732 on $4.3M. SOON added 43.4% to $0.2899 on $106.4M, giving it a deeper volume base than the micro-cap leaders. Q rose 43.3% to $0.034083 on $411.0M, while its $2.7M liquidation total was nearly balanced between longs and shorts, suggesting active two-way trading rather than a clean squeeze.

Top losers: downside is not isolated

JINQIAN plunged 73.6% to $0.00087 on $1.8M, and GPSOL fell 73.6% to $0.0034 on $973,978.29. GP dropped 71.2% to $0.00349 on $783,164.54, confirming that the most dramatic losses are concentrated in lower-volume contracts.

Among more actively traded names, SAGA fell 25.7% to $0.03057 on $132.1M, while NIL lost 16.2% to $0.09755 on $104.2M. PHA declined 9.9% to $0.07335 despite $720.3M in volume, showing that large turnover alone has not protected every altcoin from profit-taking.

Verdict: The ranking still favors a bullish momentum regime, but only selectively: BTC needs to defend $83,000 and reclaim the $84,500 options max-pain level, while ETH’s $2,670.40-$2,703.58 liquidation band is the immediate volatility zone. The view is invalidated if BTC breaks and holds below $83,000 while the $29.6B BTC options open interest remains elevated, or if QNT loses $171.90 after another short-heavy liquidation wave.
