LIT +11% to $3.77: OI Hits $445M as Fresh Longs Build

LIT climbs 11% with volume backing the move

LIT traded at $3.77 at the time of writing, up 11.1% over 24 hours. The move is not a one-exchange spike: Binance shows $3.7712, OKX $3.7755, and Bybit $3.7690, all within a penny of each other. The 24-hour range stretched from $3.29 to $3.79, which means the rally started from a low base and held its gains instead of fading. Combined spot and derivatives volume reached roughly $71.8 million on Binance alone, a solid jump from the quiet levels seen earlier in the week.

Open interest grows as new longs, not leverage churn

LIT's open interest rose 10.2% to $444.8 million over the same window. Binance added 13.0%, OKX 11.5%, and Bybit 12.8%, so the build is spread across the three largest venues rather than concentrated in one book. That pattern points to fresh positioning entering the market. A squeeze would normally push open interest down as forced exits clear; here it went up with price, which is the signature of new longs opening rather than shorts being liquidated.

Funding stays near zero, so the rally is not overheated

Funding on Binance, Bybit, Bitget, Gate, and Kucoin sits at 0.005%, essentially flat. Hyperliquid reads 0.0061%. Nothing about the term structure suggests crowded leverage. LIT liquidations over 24 hours were minimal, around $0.3 million total and split roughly between longs and shorts, which confirms there was no liquidation cascade behind the move. The price advance is being absorbed by real buying, not by forced covering.

What this means for traders

A coin that rises 11% with open interest expanding across multiple exchanges and funding still near zero has room to keep running, because the longs have not yet paid a congestion premium. The risk is on the flip side: if funding starts climbing toward 0.03% or above, the same OI becomes fuel for a long squeeze on any sharp reversal. For now, the structure favors continuation, but $3.79 (the 24-hour high) is the first level that needs to break for momentum to extend.
