SOL ETF Inflows Hit $33.5M as AUM Crosses $1.2B

SOL ETF flows are accelerating

SOL ETF inflows hit $33.5 million on Aug 24, the biggest single-day number since the products launched last year. The jump did not come out of nowhere. The daily pace went from $1.6 million on Aug 18 to $2.1 million on Aug 19, then $14.6 million on Aug 20, $10.1 million on Aug 21, and now $33.5 million. Four of the last five trading days brought in more than the previous ten days combined.

Seven-day net flows now stand at $61.8 million, and the cumulative total since launch is $1.219 billion. What matters here is the direction. Money has been dribbling into these products for months, often with zero-flow days. The last week looks different: three consecutive days above $10 million is a pattern, not a blip.

AUM just crossed $1.2 billion

Total assets in SOL ETFs reached $1.21 billion as of Aug 24, up from $869 million at the start of August. That is a 40% gain in about three weeks, and the AUM curve steepened exactly when the flow numbers did. The products now hold a meaningful slice of SOL's investment ecosystem, though they remain small next to the BTC and ETH ETF complexes, which hold $98.6 billion and $14.7 billion respectively.

The ETF bid is meeting a spot breakout

While ETF money was stacking up, the spot market moved. SOL trades at $101.8 on both Binance and OKX at the time of writing, up 7.8% over 24 hours, with a daily range of roughly $93.2 to $102.8. The move above $100 came with real volume, and open interest has been climbing alongside. This is a different setup from the earlier altcoin rally, where flows were thin and price moves were mostly liquidation-driven. This time the ETF inflow is providing a second source of demand on top of spot buying.

What to watch now

The key question is whether the flow acceleration holds. If SOL ETF inflows stay above $10 million a day for the rest of the week, the $1.3 billion AUM level is in reach, and the ETF bid becomes a support layer under price rather than a one-off event. If flows stall back to single digits, the $100 level becomes the battleground again. Either way, the last week has changed the market structure for SOL: the leverage flush earlier in the month cleared out weak hands, and now institutional flows are picking up the slack.
