TIA +10% to $0.40: OI Climbs 22.8%, Hyperliquid Adds 79%

TIA Perp OI Jumps 22.8% to $47.2M
Celestia's TIA is the quiet mover this session. The token trades near $0.4004, up about 10% in 24 hours, while total perpetual open interest climbs 22.8% to $47.2 million. Binance confirms the move at $0.4004 with a 10.0% daily gain, and OKX shows $0.4002 with 9.85%, so the rally is consistent across the top venues rather than a print on one thin book.
The 24-hour range spans $0.3616 to $0.4056. That low came during the broad market dip, and TIA has since reclaimed the $0.40 handle while BTC only edged up 0.4% over the same stretch. The outperformance is not a beta story. It looks like dedicated capital rotating into the token.
Hyperliquid Leads the OI Build, MEXC Follows
The OI increase is broad but not uniform. Hyperliquid stands out, with its TIA open interest up 78.7% in 24 hours and another 63.6% in the last four hours, taking its share to roughly 7.2% of the market. MEXC added 34.5% and now holds 14.0%, while Bybit grew 20.6% to 19.2%. Binance remains the largest venue at 27.1% with a 19.2% gain.
When the fastest OI growth shows up on Hyperliquid, it usually means directional traders are leaning in with tight risk. Four-hour flows there are still accelerating, which suggests the position build is ongoing rather than finished. KuCoin and Bitget moved less, a sign that retail chasing is not the main driver yet.
Funding Near Zero: No Overheating Signal
Despite the leverage build, funding rates stay ice cold. The volume-weighted average sits around 0.004%, and the main venues print 0.005% or lower. Hyperliquid charges 0.00125%, effectively flat. Price is up 10%, OI is up 22.8%, yet longs are not paying a premium to hold. That combination typically means the rally is still early or the market is not convinced enough to crowd the same side.
It also cuts both ways. Cheap funding removes the squeeze fuel that pushes fast moves higher, so the advance so far reads as accumulation, not a short-covering cascade. If funding spikes toward 0.01% while price stalls near $0.4056, that would be the warning sign that late longs are chasing.
What to Watch Next
The immediate level is the 24-hour high at $0.4056. A clean break with Hyperliquid OI still climbing would point to another leg. Failure there, with four-hour OI rolling over, would likely send price back toward the $0.36 area where the low was set. The risk is asymmetric right now because leverage has grown faster than price, so any rejection near resistance can trigger a faster unwind than the move up.
For traders, the useful read is the divergence between OI growth and funding. It says fresh leverage is coming in without euphoria. That is a constructive setup, but it is not a reason to ignore position sizing, since a funding spike or a 4H OI reversal tends to arrive before the price signal does.
