ETH ETF Inflow $192M: 44% of Total, AUM Record $15.1B

ETH ETFs Take the Lead Share

ETH ETFs recorded $192.4M in net inflows on Wednesday, Aug 26, which was 44% of the $432M total that flowed into crypto ETFs that day. A week earlier ether's share of the daily total was 9%. The jump pushed assets in ether funds to $15.13B, a record, and came in above the fund family's 7-day average of roughly $165M per day. It was also the fourth straight day of net buying for these products, after a slow patch in mid-August when daily prints hovered around $30-70M.

BTC Funds Near the $100B Mark

BTC ETFs added $232.1M on the same day, keeping their 7-day cumulative inflows at $2.50B. Fund AUM now reads $98.6B, within a rounding error of $100B. BTC spot traded near $78,600 at the time of writing, roughly flat on the day, so the inflows are landing while price action stays quiet. Allocators are still putting money to work without a breakout, which points to structural demand rather than momentum chasing. The streak now extends to nine straight inflow days for BTC funds, with cumulative flows since launch at $54.6B.

SOL Slows After Two Strong Days

SOL ETFs added $9.1M on Wednesday after posting $33.5M and $32.3M in the previous two sessions. The slower pace is normal after a burst; SOL AUM still sits at $1.26B, just off its $1.27B high from the prior day. Across all tracked funds, crypto ETF AUM reached $115.0B, spread over 35 funds and 13 issuers. Ether's share gain came mostly at the expense of the non-BTC, non-ETH categories, which saw minimal activity on the day.

What the Rotation Means

For most of the year BTC soaked up the bulk of ETF inflows. This week the mix changed: ether is taking a bigger slice of a pie that is still growing, and its funds are compounding at a level where a single day of flows moves AUM by more than 1%. For traders, ETF flows are a slow signal of spot demand, not a timing tool. The number to watch is whether ether's share stays above 40% for a full week, which would confirm the rotation instead of a one-day blip. A sustained shift would also change the liquidation math, since ETF-linked demand reduces the floating supply that exchanges use to settle leverage.

Data as of 14:00 Beijing time, Aug 27, 2026. ETF flows are final figures for the Aug 26 trading day across BTC, ETH, SOL, and HYPE products. Spot prices cross-checked on Binance and OKX.
