FARTCOIN -10.6% to $0.1936: OI -11.9%, MEXC Adds 22.8%

FARTCOIN Pulls Back 10.6% From the High
FARTCOIN traded at $0.1936 at the time of writing, down 10.6% over 24 hours, after topping out at $0.2180. The 24-hour range sits between $0.1876 and $0.2180, and the pullback comes as the broader market cooled, with BTC off 3.2% to $77,400. Liquidations on FARTCOIN reached $1.09 million over 24 hours, and 93% of that was longs getting cleared.
Open Interest Sheds 11.9% While MEXC Adds
Total open interest on FARTCOIN fell 11.9% to $156.1 million. Hyperliquid, the largest venue with a 25.2% share, cut 16.6%, and Binance trimmed 12.8%. But MEXC went the other way: its OI rose 22.8% over the last four hours and it now holds 12.7% of the market. That split suggests some traders are treating the dip as an entry point instead of a reason to exit.
Funding Stays Positive, Barely
Funding across venues remains in positive territory, with the OI-weighted rate at 0.0058% per period. Binance prints 0.005%, Hyperliquid 0.0035%. Positive funding during a 10% drop means leveraged longs are still holding rather than fleeing. That keeps a squeeze risk alive if price stabilizes, though the amount of premium is too thin to call it a crowded long.
What to Watch
The key level is the 24-hour low of $0.1876. A break below it with OI still contracting would confirm the deleveraging trend. If FARTCOIN holds above and MEXC keeps adding, the move looks more like profit-taking after the recent run than a structural reversal. The unwind so far has been orderly, not a cascade, and that is the difference between a pullback and a top.
