Ondo Perp Accounts Hit 82% Long on Bybit as ONDO Slides to $0.3287

Ondo Finance's token carries the most crowded single-venue positioning reading on our board today. ONDO is down 3.8% at $0.3287, and on Bybit - now the largest ONDO perp book - 82.4% of accounts are positioned long. Across all venues the figure is 68.8%. That long crowd has already paid for its conviction: $997K in long liquidations over the past 24 hours against just $12K in shorts, an 83-to-1 skew across 371 positions.

News context: TechFlow published an analysis of how Coinbase, Robinhood and Circle are all wrestling with the same distribution problem for tokenized products - the sector-level debate that keeps RWA names like ONDO in institutional focus even on red days.

Bybit has quietly become the biggest ONDO book

The venue league table has flipped. Bybit holds $45.6 million in open interest, a 23.4% share, after growing 6.2% in 24 hours - overtaking Binance's $39.1 million (20.1% share, flat on the day). OKX added 2.1% to $10.6 million while Bitget cut 3.6% to $17.5 million. Total open interest eased just 1.8% to $195.0 million despite the price drop and the liquidation flush. The pattern - Bybit growing while holding an 82.4% long account skew - suggests the retail long crowd is concentrating there and doubling down rather than de-risking.

The flush stopped twelve hours ago

Nearly all of the $997K in long liquidations happened in the earlier session: the last twelve hours produced only $20K of long liquidations, and in the past hour shorts were actually the bigger casualties at $10K versus $3K. The largest prints - longs at $0.3365 and $0.3307 on OKX and $0.3277 on Bybit - now bracket the current price. Funding has drifted supportive of a bounce: Binance at -0.0035% and OKX at -0.0078% per 8 hours, with 8 of 23 venues negative, meaning shorts are paying carry on the biggest books. Taker flow is split - Gate takers are 75.1% buyers while Binance takers are 57.4% sellers.

Momentum is soft but not broken

The 4-hour RSI at 34.0 is approaching oversold; the daily at 41.3 is weak-neutral. ONDO is sitting almost exactly on its largest recent liquidation print at $0.3277, which makes this level the pivot for the next leg.

Our read: ONDO is a crowded long that has just survived its margin call. The bull case is real - negative funding on Binance and OKX plus a halted liquidation clock is the classic bottoming signature, and a reclaim of $0.3365 (the top of today's liquidation band) would confirm it with a squeeze path toward $0.35. But the 82.4% Bybit crowd is the tail risk: if $0.3277 gives way, that concentration unwinds into thin support, and the 24-hour tape has already shown there is no short interest to cushion the fall. The tell is the hourly liquidation mix - as long as shorts keep appearing in it, the floor holds. A return to all-long liquidation prints below $0.3277 is the exit signal.
