Crypto Derivatives Ranking: $199.8M Liquidations and 305.8% Winner

The derivatives market delivered a sharp split over the past 24 hours: total liquidations reached $199.8 million, while PUMPBTC surged 305.8% and JINQIAN collapsed 73.6%. The backdrop is still broadly risk-on for altcoins, with the altseason index at 86, but the liquidation leaderboard shows that crowded positioning remains concentrated in the largest contracts. Global open interest stands at $123.4 billion, making the next move especially sensitive to whether leveraged traders add risk or reduce it.

Liquidation leaderboard

Ethereum ranks first by forced unwinds, with $53.4 million liquidated across 3,145 events. Shorts accounted for $44.1 million, more than four times the $9.3 million in long liquidations, indicating that ETH's recent strength punished bearish leverage rather than triggering a broad long squeeze.

Bitcoin follows with $51.9 million liquidated across 3,225 events. Its $43.4 million in short liquidations versus $8.5 million in longs points to the same upside squeeze pattern, although the scale is close enough to ETH to keep BTC as the market's main leverage reference.

STRK ranks third at $14.6 million, split between $8.2 million in shorts and $6.4 million in longs across 9,459 events. The unusually high event count suggests fragmented, fast-turnover speculation rather than one isolated liquidation cascade. NEAR posted $10.5 million in liquidations, with $9.2 million on shorts, while ZEC reached $9.7 million, including $7.4 million in short losses.

SOL completed the top six at $9.7 million, with shorts contributing $6.0 million and longs $3.7 million. Across the whole market, shorts represented $147.6 million of liquidations against $52.2 million for longs, confirming that the dominant forced-flow direction was upward.

Gainers with leverage behind them

PUMPBTC is the clear performance leader at $0.0370513, up 305.8% on $137.3 million in volume. The move is large enough to attract momentum traders, but its place outside the top liquidation totals also suggests that the headline advance has not yet produced the same forced-positioning footprint as ETH or BTC.

W gained 62.8% to $0.027809 on $538.0 million in volume, combining a major percentage move with meaningful turnover. MAGIC rose 34.1% to $0.13052 on $1.2 billion in volume and also appears in the liquidation ranking, where $5.0 million was wiped out; that makes it a more mature, actively leveraged rally than many smaller gainers.

CKB advanced 30.2% to $0.0018126 with $331.4 million in volume, while S climbed 30.1% to $0.06058 on $805.2 million. NEAR was less explosive but more liquid, gaining 12.0% to $5.845 on $3.0 billion in volume and ranking fourth in liquidations. FIL added 15.1% to $1.241 with $545.0 million in volume, showing that the move extended beyond a handful of thin contracts.

Losers and market structure

JINQIAN led the downside table, falling 73.6% to $0.00087 on $1.8 million in volume. APH dropped 47.6% to $82.82, while BLAST lost 41.5% to $0.0001291; their declines were severe, but their volumes of $1.0 million and $3.7 million respectively were small beside the market's leading contracts.

US fell 39.2% to $0.012122 on $344.5 million, making it the most consequential large-volume loser in this list. MUBARAK declined 12.4% to $0.06565 on $160.7 million, despite a 90-day gain of 536.0% in the broader altcoin sample, a reminder that strong trend rankings do not prevent sharp short-term reversals.

Market breadth remains constructive: 43 of 50 sampled coins are outperforming, and the 90-day Bitcoin change is 28.6%. Yet sentiment is already at 69, classified as Greed, while the average RSI is 54.4. That combination favors selective continuation over indiscriminate chasing. Options positioning adds a defined reference: BTC's $31.6 billion options open interest has a 0.6 put-call ratio, and the October 30 max-pain level is $78,000.

Verdict: The ranking favors a squeeze-led bullish bias while BTC holds the $83,000 max-pain area and trades above the $83,510.37 index reference; a reclaim of $84,000 would strengthen the continuation case. The key derivatives backdrop is $123.4 billion in global open interest, so the view is invalidated if BTC loses $83,000 while open interest remains near that level, signaling fresh leverage is absorbing downside rather than being flushed; a break toward the $78,000 options max-pain level would confirm a deeper reset.
